We experienced some pretty epic weather conditions during our recent camping trip on Kick. You see, the forecast called for a little bit of sunshine, but Mother Nature had other thoughts. Apparently, she decided to throw a massive rainstorm right in the middle of our adventure!
Our shelter quickly transformed into a swamp. {Everyaround us was soaked through and through. We made an effort to stay dry, but it was a losing battle. The rain just kept pouring.
It wasn't all bad though. There was something unique about the whole experience. We huddled together in our makeshift shelter, sharing memories and attempting to stay warm.

Well y'all, it's been a crazy few read more months here on the farm! The crops are blooming like crazy, and I'm super excited about all the {freshproduce we're going to have.
I've also been workin'/toiling/hustling hard on {somenew projects that I can't wait to tell you all about soon! In the meantime, here are a few of {quickhighlights:
* I finally finishing up the new barn.
* The chickens/goats/cows are laying/producing/giving tons/loads/plenty of eggs/milk/cheese.
* I've been experimenting with some new recipes using all the fresh ingredients from the farm.

Rain pounded down, turning our campsite into a brown lagoon. But that didn't stop Jess! She was ecstatic to be out here in the wild, braving the elements with a grin on her face. We pitched our tent, which squealed like a wounded animal every time a gust of wind hit it. We huddled inside, sharing snacks, the warmth of each other's company driving the chill. Later, we watched the rain dancing on the leaves, listening to the melody of nature. This wasn't just a camping trip, it was an experience. A true "Girl Gone Wild" moment!
